The aim of Faculty of Engineering is to educate innovative and open to change engineers who can synthetize knowledge and skills gained from the university in corresponding engineering disciplines.

The competitive environment and technological improvements due to globalization and information society, have an important impact on the education of engineering and its practices. Education and research activities in all our departments are developed in correspondence with these improvements.All essential modifications regarding engineering domain are dynamically implemented and this way, departmental curricula always remains up to date. The coexistence of engineering departments such as Computer, Software, Industrial, and Electrical-Electronics, which are closely related, provide additional advantages to each other.

In all departments of Engineering, there is a high emphasis on application based and design oriented education. All necessary laboratories, computing resources and ways to access information are provided in an up to date level. In addition, thanks to English based education programs, our engineering students can graduate by gaining fundamental qualifications to be succesful both in Turkey and abroad.
